Jollibee: How Remy the rat impress Aston the critic.

What kind of fast food can makes people queuing up and waiting for long hours? This situation happens daily at Lucky Plaza's Jolibee. They are selling some very common fast food, fried plain old fried chicken, simple burger, and some speghetti. Nothing fancy, nothing special.

While most of the fast food restaurant strive to create new recipe, new flavours. Adding more carbs, oil, sugar and salt... It is very hard to find plain fried chicken and simple burger in Singapore nowadays. May be, people just want something plain, something which will reminds them about the old days fried chicken.
This is how the little Ramy the rat impress the food critic Aston in the they disney's animation Ratatoulle.
Jolibee brings people back to the age old simple recipe of fried chicken. Especially for the Philippinos working in Singapore. However, there's still something very different - Chicken! The chicken used in Singapore Jolibee is fatter compare to the original Jolibee in Philippines, according to my Philippino colleagues.

If you craving for some simple food, if you feel that the latest fast food invention is just too disgusting, (I personally dislike the new Tiki Alo McD), do try Jolibee. It will not disappoint you.

Nightmare in the early morning - 328 Katong Laksa

The unofficial national food of Singapore - Katong Laksa. The one which challenge the famous Gordon Ramsey and score a big time of over 19% more votes. I don't understand, I don't get it, and I totally disagree! The 328 Katong Laksa is the biggest gangsta of Singapore!

Under my investigation, the soup is the biggest disappointment. The coconut milk already lumpy! That's the problem! It's either they use the powder type or the santan isn't fresh anymore! And the cockles are not fresh! There are so little shrimp in it that I hardly taste it's goodness.

Doesn't believe me? Go Katong and torture your tongue with this worst laksa ever! I don't understand why people like the lumpy soup. When I read all the good online reviews about this Laksa to be fresh (Pleassssse! If it's fresh the soup won't be lumpy) full of shrimp goodness (I can hardly taste the shrimps) not so overpowering and just right (I call it tasteless).

Not to mention, the bad service...

Wake up Singaporean! Wake up! Unless you want the soup to be coconut cheese soup! Hot cheese can still melt beautifully... This shit should be put in jail!

Inspired by extremely bad eating experience in Singapore.

I have lots of failed food blogs, this is a new one. Why failed? No time to update and lazy. Recently I was greatly inspired by the chef Gordon Ramsey Singapore cook-off. Ok, I'm not Singaporean, I'm from Malaysia, yeah, hate me for doing this or what, I'm proudly announce that I was born in the city of gourmet - Ipoh (some say it's the city of beautiful chicks, I mean the chicks not on the plates). Some argue that Penang have more good food. I would agree so, it's the State of gourmet. (they also says that Penang has more pretty chicks than Ipoh... Why don't we say.... Chicks are all pretty in Malaysia... :P) LOL...

Ok ok, I'm gonna piss off lots of Singaporean here, sorry bout that, No offence.

Seems like my old blog is not hopeless to be recovered. I hate Google!
